Well you have your opinion, you go and take notice of any tom dick or harry and bite your nails feeling the ‘Fear’ getting het up about it all. I’ll listen to the scientists that actually know what’s happening and what they’re talking about, no one else.

Sir if you would seek out other venues of news and information you would find that there ARE scientists and doctors who dispute the information that is being put out as fact by the sources you appear to take as gospel.

It is akin to “climate change “ (which is more bunkum), there are scientists on both sides of that fence.

Without being rude or insulting the only way I can think of you is someone that would agree that the twin towers were brought down by government. It’s that kind of viewpoint of the world. Of course you’re entitled to it, and I respect your opinion but we’ll never agree, never, it’s brainwashed hysteria and mad conspiracy theories, imho. Anyway as I say we'll never agree, which is fine.
Thank you for a polite response.

Though I don’t know who exactly was behind the destruction of the twin towers I believe, from evidence I have seen and read, that it surely did not collapse from an airplane crashing into to it. But, before I get accused of going off topic, suffice it to say that yes I do tend to be suspicious of what information is provided to the public. If that makes me a conspiracy theorist...well so be it.

Ive seen some of these alternative people and they have failed to impress me.

I’ve also noticed that the Original Question was asked on here to determine who was going to have a jab - The Hell No camp has remained stubbornly low at 10% while the yes camp is increasing and is now 75%
At least when this is all over we will have at least 10% of the population left
Thanks that put a smile on my face.

Being part of the stubbornly low 10% is a badge I wear proudly. I have seldom been one who follows the crowd and I’m glad I’m wired that way.

As my wise mother would say “to each his own.” And, BTW she is still alive and living on her own at the age of 93 and has refused to take the vaccine, even though her doctor recommended it. As they say over here, “the apple don’t fall far from the tree.”

Here is an interesting 'experiment' I am going through - I thought I would bring this into the mix ...

My partner is a care worker at an independent living facility, she gets tested for Covid every week to safeguard the service users. She also got the Vaccine (Oxford) 1st jab almost 3 weeks ago. Well, last Monday she took her swab as usual, on Wednesday morning early in the morning she got a call from work saying "don't come in, you've tested positive". We were both a little stunned as we don't have the slightest of hint of any symptoms - also, the last time she had any possible outside contact was the Friday before - so on Wednesday we were 5 days into any possible infection, at least (of course the time onset of symptoms varies - we know that). They offered her to run the test again in case it was a false positive, and since I work from home as an academic and never go out (unless to shop for essentials once a week) the thought was, if she's got it, I've got it! So they tested me too ... so, here we are two days later .... the outcome?

The Mrs tested positive, again, and my test came back negative! Now as we are sharing the house and not taking any precautions (like keeping her locked away or anything!), we were sure I would come back positive too ... and still now both of us have no symptoms - a week at least since possible infection ....

Could it be that her vaccine is doing its job? a) protecting her from getting full on symptoms? and b) reducing the transmission of the virus to others??

If that is the case then in my book that is a very good outcome !!!

Of course "the night is young" - if any symptoms develop I'll keep you posted, but, so far - so good!

Cheers

Another way to look at this, and how it could possibly be spreading, is if she was at work Monday and Tuesday after taking her test she was potentially passing on the virus to anybody she was in contact with. Almost like closing the barn door after the horse has bolted.

A friends son in the medical profession has had. 3x false positive tests (quickie test) re test using the full method it was Negative.

Can I ask if your wife uses an inhaler of any sort?

These were all the full PCR tests - I know the quickie ones are bad with false positives. She doesn’t use an inhaler no.

Yes, perhaps, except she wears full PPE at work, and all workers and service users have since been tested and resulted negative.

Are we doing the new 'post Trump' PCR test or the 'pre-Biden' test?

THE FIRST ONE WILL OFFER SOME PROTECTION, BUT DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING IM DOING PRECAUTIONS WISE UNTIL I HAVE THE 2ND DOSE.

Thanks for the info Andy, although its as expected it is still enlightening, this part especially, what is the point in jabbing millions of people without completing the process and "fully" protecting them, literally nothing has changed for you, you still need to shield and shelter.

In terms of "Big Pharma" its simple, regulation. The authoritarian left winger in me comes out when it comes to this, the slimy money grubbing f%&s that run these companies have proven themselves malevolent time and time again, its time that Governments simply seize the companies and move them into public ownership. Healthcare is not a human right however nor should it be used as a sort of Sword of Damocles over people and Governments where at any time the price or access to treatments/drugs etc can be removed or priced such as to make it unreachable.

Elon Musk took 4 tests back to back and 2 were positive and 2 were negative, the tests have proven inconsistent and unreliable for some time.

I get what you’re saying but for me the big change is I now have 60%ish better protection than I had on Monday but yes until they complete the program the risk is still there for me, and other risk groups, but we are less likely to catch it and if we do our bodies are at least partially primed to try and deal with it.

Yes I will still be under restrictions for some time yet, some self imposed, to minimise my risk and also to reduce my risk of spreading it, but I’ll take that rather than be totally unprotected

Im continuing on the same regime Andy
Ive come this far being locked downs another few weeks can't do me any harm.

The Z will be out at the start of April and I will have some Michelin Ps4 rubber to celebrate.

No point in hanging out this long Ron to blow it for the sake of a few weeks

Mine got new PS4S’s just before the winter so I’m looking forward to giving them a try. Was hoping it was going to be a forum run but looking unlikely as the first ones have been deferred

Us oldies will pull it together for you - fear not.

You are hero's and inspiration to us all. :D

We ask nothing I’m return either
We don’t get any furlough dough either!

Lol I closed my business for 8 months and got paid 515 quid furlough (ltd company director).

Just about enough to pay for the operational costs of my business. Thank god the tooth fairy paid my mortgage during that period 😂

Am I correct in assuming that Brian Rose and LondonReal are considered far out, conspiracy theory nut jobs?

I assume that because I watched a video of Dr. Sherri Tenpenny stating that possibly 50 million Americans could die from the Covid vaccine. She was quoting (and agrees with) Dr. Judy Mikovitz.

The video is many other places then just LondonReal but I sort of surmised that if I linked to that site for a video that it would be considered invalid due only to the fact of where the video was hosted.

Whether you care to watch it or not means nothing to me, in fact I don't even want to waste my time posting a link.

However, should their prediction of 50 Million Americans dying BECAUSE of the vaccine should (God forbid) come true, I would be willing to bet that the MSM would attribute it to a new strain of the virus. Of course that would allow the vaccine manufacturers to produce some other concoction with which to line their pockets.

If that would happen you might want to recall the #1 "guideline" on the Georgia Guide-stones is "Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature". Hmmm a good start, a good start.

So many folk hadn’t planned ahead. I know someone who is in a small business who lived pr covid on a hand to mouth basis - we had to feed her

I think there has been some good help but it would seem some gaps - and as recent reports, some fiddlers .

I had a good 1st year and saved alot but I can give you examples of others that were less fortunate.

2 of my good friends quit his job to set up on their own in the January with enough money to last them both around 6 months.

No support both ended up with penny's from universal credit, got loans supper easy (not grants, but loans based on what they expected to earn 1st year) and burnt through those just feeding their family.

I have another mate who had to sell his work van and tools because he was set up as a limited company director whilst others were getting paid (and were allowed to work also) because their business were structured differently. He like me wasn't allowed to work while getting paid his 500 quid but if he was a sole trader he would have got 2700 a month and would be allowed to work whilst furloughed.

The only plus side for us is I think in another month or so I will be able to claim a grand for not making ourselves redundant. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

This is not a sob story- I am probably buying a new car today but my business turned over 30% of what it did 1st year last year.

So add in the financial troubles to a disease that is not dangerous to me then I guess you can kind of see mine and my pals situation.

I would not love to see it but I would like to see your reactions if suddenly through no fault of your own your way of earning was taken away and you were left with 30% of your pensions etc and the savings you had as a 36 year old.

Don’t get me started on that one. That business secretary who made that statement justifying not paying ltd company directors was terrible and ignorant. To claim that directors are basically dodging tax and have a higher turnover so don’t need help was unbelievable.
