It’s the ratio of staff per patient that’s sooooo different with covid, that and I really don’t think you appreciate how bad this could be for you, anyhoo we’ll just have to agree to disagree. Stay safe fella.

To be honest all those news paper articles I posted pretty much say the same thing that you are saying each year from 2014 to the current date.
They were interviewing real people who were doing the job right at that point and all saying each year the NHS is at breaking point.
Anyhow, positive news today. All the people who got their 1st jab before Xmas are now getting their second. They will be "immune" soon.

Here’s an interesting development: Like elsewhere in the EU having the vaccine is a choice in Spain, however the Spanish government has announced that they will be keeping a list (not for public consumption) of all those who chose not to get vaccinated when it was offered to them - “for internal use only”. For those who are always after a conspiratorial angle - here you go

I expect most countries will end up with a similar list. The UK will have it as part of medical records - even if it's not explicit that it's a 'refusal' it'll be there as entries for 'Date offered vaccine' and a lack of 'Date of Vaccination' entry, so pretty easy to extract.ProfCJJ said:

I am afraid not being one, I wouldn’t have a clue - but the inventiveness of these types has always flourished - if there is an obscure, underhand scenario that can be read into something they can do it.
From my end, I would be glad that our government had such a list and I wouldn’t expect anything less.
I can’t see anything wrong with an electronic vaccination certificate on my passport/driving license.
I would all also be more than happy to have a mandatory I/D card.
Throughout my career I’ve been security vetted on a regular basis so I’ve got nothing to hide. Perhaps if you’ve got something to hide you might take an alternative view?

I'm totally in agreement. It would not surprise in the least if other countries, especially those that have weathered the storm better than us, insist on seeing evidence of a vaccination before allowing entry. Many already require a negative test up to 72 hours before travel.
