I was ill but passed within a few days and feel fine now.

I’ve written this somewhere before on one of the threads but unless it’s one of the major vaccination centres it’ll not be the Pfizer one. The rule of thumb they pretty well gave me was if it’s a medical centre or a GP it’ll be the AZ one.

Our local one seems to do both. A couple I spoke to today had AZ and Pfizer, the wife with AZ was ill, the husband with Pfizer was absolutely fine.

My mother in law fortunately had the Pfizer one as well so had no side effects.

Both my parents had the AZ last week , mother unwell 3 days after , dad no side effects so i don't think its a certainty

1st guy my age that I know suffered at the hands of the virus.

He had covid and caught pneumonia after it and was in for 10 days. He is out now but feeling rather rough.

Caveat is that he was overweight, smoked and is a diabetic.

I hope this might prove as a lesson and help him towards some better lifestyle choices.

My father had a text today to book him in for his 1st jab today. He is under 70 so it motoring on. Really feel that things are moving in the right direction.

I had the simple annual flu jab and had aches and pains for 2 days so not worried

I was advised to have the flu jab this year due to covid, made me feel rough for a few days but obviously much better than catching the flu virus.

There seems to be a train of thought that people with compromised immune systems (me) are more likely to be unwell. My 75 yo mother got the same one as me about 4 days prior and had nothing but a sore arm and a girl I know of 36 with an auto immune disease had symptoms very similar to mine. We all got the AZ one

Not a great prospect getting the 2nd one but the protection it’ll offer me it’s worthwhile

Just had a call for a pal with comprised immune system - otherwise he is as fit as a flea (55 years old)
He had the Pfizer jab and was wrecked the following day. High temperature and sweats - day two was just about normal and day three all normal again!

My understanding is that if you are old AF and have no immune system it doesn't touch the sides. Maybe it differs with a compromised immune system I don't know?

It's the young fit and healthy ones that get the most negative reactions- usually after their second dose.

Looking like there may be something in it then Ron. I don’t know anyone who’s had the Pfizer but looks like it doesn’t matter which brand if your immune system compromised.

Not that it matters but I’ve never had a reaction to the flu jabs and I’ve had that for 12/13 yrs except 2019 as something else was going on and I wasn’t to get it that year.

I honestly don’t know either but I’ve spoken to 5 people who all have received the jag because of shielding due to compromised immune systems. None of them have the same condition, including me, and there’s the one Ronk has mentioned who have all reacted the same way. I’m in no way clever enough to understand why it the reasons behind that but we have all been ill for a few days then fine.

Some may say it’s just coincidence and might not effect all CIS people but it has to the limited numbers of ones I have spoken to 1st hand

So odd,

My mum had the Pfizer a couple of weeks ago (support worker) and she had a few minor symptoms. Arm aches, head aches, temp and felt like crap for a couple of days.

She is 63.

Paranoid Is the kind/polite word!

I listened to his drivel but notice that he never said how "they" would or could control us all - it seemed all about a thin film of gold over silicon implanted into our DNA

I'm just pleased to have had my jab and the possibility of some sort of normality _ I think I will risk being turned into a zombie / drone!

"gold thats one billionth of a millimetre" that's 1picometer which is wild considering that gold of only 2 atoms in thickness is 470 picometers... seems these governments and overlords are simply breaking physics now.. who knew! :idunno:
