I voted "Hell No!"

I was in the US Navy from 1973 thru 1977 and got every vaccine known to man at the time. Now I guess I could be classified as an "anti-vaxxer".

I don't know if any I got while in the Navy have had any ill effect...I'm 65 and in relatively good health but this Covid one is, from what I have read and watched, a different animal. For one thing they have rushed them through without animal trials...though now, miraculously, they are saying there were trials on monkeys. Sure, yeah right...once people started noticing that no animal trials were held and now, "Oh wait, yeah we did do animals trials...guess we forgot."

Sorry, I don't trust our governments and/or "the powers that be".

I don't want to fill this post with links but if you are the least in doubt that "they know what is best for us", at least do some research on your own. Don't just accept what you are fed.

A good place to start is doing a search for Dr. Carrie Madej. She has been mostly scrubbed from YouTube and other main stream type formats. You can find her on BitChute and other alternative video formats that tend to allow freedom of speech and don't censor what they don't want the masses to see. Being censored now a days is a badge of honor IMO.

I fear it is time to really get ready, I'm guessing we have a wild ride ahead of us...and I'm not talking about in your Z.

I am just going to grab some popcorn, sit back and watch your replies as I fear you might have a wild ride ahead of you from the boys that are hooked straight into MSM on here. As over hear (I assume you are in the states). No one other than the dailymail are even questioning the narrative at the moment.

Government and Media really playing project fear off each other and the layman is lapping it up.

Surely, that new guy you have over there, aged P, will make it mandatory to have the jab.

Very few governments will be able to make it mandatory - doing so would be considered a breach of human rights, in the US I suspect it would be unconstitutional. Companies might, like Qantas saying they will require people to be vaccinated before being allowed to take an international flight, at least initially, and perhaps some professions that require close and mixed contact with others like teachers.

As for my stance on vaccines... I think you're foolish if you refuse them, especially if you make the decision for your kids before they are able to do so themselves, but it's your life. The only reason measels, polio, mumps, rubella and a bunch of other really nasty illnesses have been virtually eradicated - or controlled - is vaccines. It's true that this has not had 10 years of development and testing, but personally I'm willing to take the chance.

Very sound words that I fully endorse, being recently classed as 'Clinically Extremely Vulnerable' by NHS, I expect to be summoned fairly soon in the New Year and after virtual lockdown since 23 March, I look forward to having a sore arm for a few hours and a bit of freedom.

Carrot and a stick, that’s how it operates. Bow down once and it gets easier the next time.

'Shutting down' anti-vaxxers is no longer free speech. When you remove another person's point of view - their side of the argument - it's no longer a democratic society, it's called a dictatorship.

And I oppose the term 'anti-vaxxer'. It's a term, manufactured as a tool to spike passion and division. It's like me calling any woman who doesn't shave her armpits a lesbian. Yes, that's ridiculous too. But that's my point.

And dividing the masses is what they want. It's happening now. we are arguing about something that should sit well with all of us, we should have our sides of the argument heard, but there is a sinister systematic shutting down of anything that doesn't fit the narrative.

I truly hope you two don’t get the damn virus.

The only fear I have of this virus is killing someone else and my peers and my business going bankrupt.

Your "I'm alright Jack" attitude might see you through the Pandemic without being vaccinated, but it will not address your stated fear. Whilst the virus is free to infect us all, many more people will die, albeit not many in your specific cohort. The necessary lockdowns will ensure that your business, like most others, will struggle until such time the pandemic has run its course or we have immunity from a mass vaccination programme.

For comparison over 100 people in the UK a day take their own lives with the under 45 males being the largest group at risk (this is not a cry for help btw).
So you're saying more than 36,500 people take their own lives in the UK each year? Where's your source for this?

So what’s the implied point of your data extract pls?

Are you trolling me?

Hello, no of course I’m not trolling you.

You are promulgating an argument in a public space based on ‘facts’ that appear selective and often incorrectly numerically quoted.

Also there seems to be often a lack of deductive or connective logic. :tumbleweed:

Therefore I was asking, I thought politely, what the context of your recent extract and how did that relate to the issue of the merits of having a COVID vaccination...

I’m not sure that falls into trolling...maybe you could advise? :fuelfire:

I’m totally lost off now - can someone summarise this for me please and as a simple phrase.

1 Pro jabbers want the jab because they want to avoid C19

2 Anti Jabbers do not want the jab why?

This thread is a perfect example of why I loathe the rise of social media. In the good old days, people who repeated all this conspiracy theory nonsense would usually be found sitting on the top deck of a bus or in the corner or a pub talking to themselves, so were easily spotted and avoided!
