Now then ESP - where should we be looking in the sky - what direction?

87 means itll be Straight up (90 being completly vertical)
It apears from the west horizon at 9:01pm and sets in the east at 9:09pm,
best views being 9:03 to 9:06, its the brightest thing in the sky,
like a constant bright white light, unlike planes that have severial small flashing lights unless there landing and have there landing lights on.

Just been out ESP and seen two bright constant lights
One nearly immediately above but then another moving from west to east but at about 40 degrees - your description of timings sounds like the second light - would it be lower in the sky when looking from Newcastle than Herfordshire?
All exciting stuff - have visitors and we all took a look!

If you click on the link above it gives you the degrees for viewing for your city in the UK. It's the speed it moves at. You'd be forgiven for thinking it's a plane.

Just checked the link and it was the second light moving from right to left at 35 degrees.
Amazing - you're right I did think it might be a plane.

Saw it the last few nights. When I saw it earlier in the year, I could see it until it passed over some middle eastern country, but this last few nights its faded out by the time its over Belgium. Amazing!
