I'm sat here in Dick Lovett BMW killing time whilst my F11 is serviced so I thought I'd take a few sneaky pics (without looking a complete geek).

The i8 really is a thing of beauty. Lovely liness on it

Ask them to gift wrap the i8 for me please...

The i8 is beautiful, but at £2.1m it's a bit expensive.

£100k for the i8.
£2m for a nice house with garage to charge it. :(

I saw an i8 at my local BMW dealers (was picking up bottle of soft top roof protector). Wish I'd taken some pics now. It was in black and looked like the latest batmobile. It certainly is a thing of beauty. Costs around 100k I believe

That 235i Looks ace :( One day! :D

The Manager told me its going off to have the full body kit put on and he hopes it will be back by the day of our event...

So given the choice would you rather have an i8 or a Tesla Model S

Whilst I think the i8 is a lovely car, I think the Tesla is just a better package.

must go and see the M2351 convertible

I do agree the i8 is a gorgeous car, but I just can't get on with it in white or silver. In black it looks awesome. Are their any other colours, like performance blue or whatever it's called ?

That M235i looks promising. I think the wife needs one :D

Does anyone else laugh when they hear or read the words 'Dick Lovett'?
(Sorry, been a tough week)

We had a consultant visit our work a few years back called Richard Head, he was actually very good at his job - but did insist on us using his full and proper first name

Anyway.... I met the Showroom manager and they have great plans for our meet on the 12th April...

Hope you told them we're not going to be there long...? :driving:

Or are you now on commission so have re-routed the run so it's four laps of their car park, three hours of tea/coffee and sales chat then another four laps in the opposite direction :poke:

No - Strictly no commission or anything. I'm just pleased to get such a good starting venue with free teas and coffees, rather than a wet windy Services Car Park with coffee at £3.50 a cup.

We'll only be there an hour or so, which will fly by, by the time everyone arrives, parks up and introduces themselves.
Parking will be all in one area so you can view everyone's cars and a few BMW Technicians will be floating about to answer any questions people may have about their cars, problems, etc. He said the Technicians are coming in voluntarily as they like the older cherished cars, rather than the run of the mill Company cars they get every day !
They are looking to make it a special day for us in return for a few photos on their Social Media sites and a bit of good publicity I suspect. All relationship building, ...both ways.

We had a Mike Hunt at our place... He insisted on Michael funnily enough :)
