Colin yours looks sooooooo good
All these pics of the cars with the tops on gets me thinking I should dig mine out, but still hankering after a few mor topless rides before it goes on.

I thought I saw grey in there!! How come you left the spoiler grey?
I've got silver and want the black contrast too. Much like the soft top contrast, just with the hardtop I think it looks so much better. Recently DanStarr and Marlon posted pics, not silver cars I know but with the same contrasting black hardtop look. Think it really suits the car.
Just can't decide between:
(1) standard shiny/gloss/metallic black
(2) Matt carbon
(3) gloss carbon
I like the idea of carbon. Just don't want it to look tacky
Personal I think the carbon could end up looking abit tacky.kis said:85genius said:Good spot, although it is just the spoiler that is grey the rest is matt black. the contrast has definitely grown on me so won't be ready wrapping the roof any time soon but still torn on the spoiler, it just depends on the angle as I like the fact it brings out the silver in the grilles wheels and headlights just not sure if it would be better overall in carbon

I do think a carbon wrap has the potential to look awesome, but it has to be done right, you would need to wrap it in proper carbon weave and not just carbon effect and it has to be wrapped by someone who is master wrapper. If its done right it will look like a full carbon fibre roof but I think the slightest imperfection in the wrapping process would give it away

Thanks Chris. Photos taken in Camden, behind the Costa on Chalk Farm Road. I pass it on the way to and from Wing Chun-always wanted to take a few pics. It's one of those places you'd never know was there unless you had reason to cut through to the housing estates, which most avoid...Yep, Blacked out all the badges, tho' I'd like to get the car sprayed and the front and rear badges removed, filled and painted. I think the badges look cheap especially on the side indicators, but the law says the sides have to stay. Not going to be able to afford a respray for a bit so the blackouts will have to do for the mo. I know it's a strange opinion that BMW badges look cheap on Zs...I don't think they should've put the badges on the roadsters. Maybe just a removable sticker,Chris_D said:Did u black out dem badges too?
Stealthy. 8)
But it's advertising so why would they leave them off. Always loved the whippy, makes it look like a big toy, which it is DMC63 said:Hardtop painted and on!

I trust they did a good job with the paint work? Removal and re-installation of the lining went okay as well?
