The Grand Reveal !!!!!

Who needs sunsets or mountains to set a Z off in a pic, when all you need is a Tesco car park and windscreen replacement gazebo

Seriously, looking good

I am sure you are aware by now that only the Coupes are rusting - where they added the extra bits to the original design, they did not do very good rust proofing so you need to keep an eye on the rear end. But I think you are already aware of that.

Interesting observation, I hadn't considered that

Have you ever seen a roadster with rust? Not even the 2003 models seem to rust, but a lot of Coupes are suffering with rust at the rear at various locations.

It was an after thought after all

I think that's a bit of an over simplification... wouldn't exactly say 'lots' of coupes are rusting - 2 cars have reported rust recently on the join between the skirt and the rear wing - the red aero coupe and Roundozo's. There have been some cases of rust in the tailgate and generally they've been fixed under the anti-corrosion warranty, but apart from that, the only other panels where rust has been reported are basically the same as the panels on the roadster, so unless they were produced elsewhere to different production standards, there shouldn't be any greater incidence of rust?

I'd be interested how rusty some of those roadsters are inside the body panels if they regularly fill up with water and drown their hood pumps....

The roadster has a drain plug, does the coupe have that there?

My goodness there is a God - I never thought id see the day!!! :D

Great looking car mate, be nice to see some pics of it other than the rear. Just the one piece of advice; chuck £72 at it and buy a pair of vanos solenoids, I changed mine yesterday due to a slight lump at idle - what a difference, the car has a load more torque and pulls through all the gears and I thought it drove well beforehand!!

Enjoy pal summer is coming :driving:

I'm sorry, but what a generalised piece of rubbish!!!!! Look after your car properly and it won't rust, don't and it will.

Great colour, dark blues are the one! I was after a carbon black but settled for sapphire.

Congratulations on the colour choice

I know it's not Z content and I don't mean to hijack your thread, but my old E36 convertible and its hardtop were carbon black and it is an awesome colour.... you get all kinds of different colour shades in different light conditions
