Hi all,

When I dragged my wife to Massachusetts from California, she gave up her Audi TT (which I honestly was never a huge fan of anyway). To make it up to her, I just picked up this 03 Z4 3.0. It's got 42k miles on the clock and is in great shape overall. A couple rattles here and there which are a little annoying, but drives great. I LOVE driving this car. Turns out it was almost as much a gift for me as it was for her. :thumbsup:

Well, almost..... Nice car - welcome and enjoy. Think of it along the lines of buying your wife some nice lingerie - she's happy, your happy and everyone wins. :thumbsup:

I just asked her. Here's her reply (this is copied/pasted from chat, so forgive the lack of structure): :driving:

to me, the TT drove a tad bit smoother than Z4
the Z4 has more power than the TT
the clutch on the TT is stiffer than the BMW
The Z4 convertible is definitely a lot more quieter than the TT
at least my year TT. don't know about the newer models
the trunk space on the Z4 is much bigger than the TT.

As for me, I can agree the TT shifted more smoothly; the Z4 is a bit gruntier and more raw. Maybe that's part of why I like it. :thumbsup: Z4 feels more planted and handles better; the TT seemed to bounce a round the road a bit.
