The Gadget Show

Went to the show at the nec November 2011, but whilst the live show was good the exhibition was poor in our opinion.

I haven't watched the show since before that!

Pollyanna's got a couple of good points!!

I like gadgets, and used to love this show but they've dumbed down recently. The only reason it was on was I couldn't be bothered to turn it off

Spot on about Suzi lol, nice to hear we weren't the only ones disappointed about the rest of it!

I tried to watch this last night, i used to love the Gadget Show, but this new format where they do there totally stupid consumer challenges then keep cutting to a interview type format is VERY annoying and irritating. Also realistically, of 100% of viewers Who would be in the market for torches that cost between £125 - £300?
What happened to mainstream stuff like TV's cameras USB drives, laptops etc...

On a plus side Pollyanna is visually pleasing lol,
Untill she opens her mouth

"Join us next week when we'll be in Florida testing the latest low-orbit reusable space rockets from NASA that every house hold needs" Yeah right :tumbleweed:

Last night they were in Israel and raving about the technology innovation culture. Have they never visited any of the science parks around our universities?

Produced by idiots, presented by morons

I never even noticed the format had changed or that presenters had disappeared.

The show has always been a bit of a confusing mish mash showing people making simple life tasks more complicated by using over priced electrical tat interspersed with a huge "giveaway" section in the middle where they read out the whole of the stock list from the local PC World.

The show winds me up now. Not a review show anymore, more they've sacked the three others and used the funds for a world tip jolly. Don't mind Jason and Pollyanna has her merits (open mouthed included  ) but its all a bit forced now. From what I understand the split from the other three was not exactly trouble free (Suzi Perry especially). Lacks the humour and information from before and I think has a limited shelf life. All a bit self conscious.
