Temprature dropping fast here. Heating bill rising fast.

Snow on the forecast for Sunday.

We’ve had some for a couple of weeks now. Pure and beautiful, love it. Minus ten deg, so it’s relatively dry, too. Southern Finland.

Just in from Dartmoor. No Snow at all here. Well bellow Zero up there though, all the standing water is frozen solid. Much colder than the Cairngorms last week. Wish I was up in Scotland now.

Had a dusting of snow here yesterday which wasn't a problem, but minus 3 last night and the little snow we had froze solid making the roads and paths lethal. Forecast to be below zero till middle of next week. Extra cold weather payments may kick in for us pensioners :D

Wouldn't want to fall and break something as you would lie there till Christmas waiting for an ambulance. Seriously, really hope no one has that happen but suspect it will.

Nordic winter tyres and 4WD on DD. :D. The zed is hibernating under a cover in a garage and waiting for more appropriate weather. Have studded winter tyres for the zed as well, but almost newer used them, as I don’t like the salt the pour on the main roads.

Ive got gentle slope on my driveway and with my wobbly leg problem I must have looked like Bambi getting to the car this afternoon.
Legs like two snapped candles

The drive has been salted now but I will still be very cautious if I have to venture out tomorrow. Now is definitely not the time to get an ambulance or visit A&E

No white stuff but below freezing for the last two days, in fact the zed had not defrosted for a few days - will have to start her up tomorrow

Looking to get up to around 25 degrees where I am over Xmas.
Could be cos we’re dodging the family cling ons and going to the Red Sea :D :D

Yes it's cold! It's winter now, it's supposed to be cold.
Seems like yesterday it was 42 degrees C and we were all moaning how hot it was!
I remember when I was a lad, it was always snowing at Xmas. We would huddle around the fire, sing carols and roast our chestnuts..... :P

Like feck....it was usually mild, raining and grim at Xmas. And I don't like chestnuts. And I ain't got a real fire anymore. :x

But why would that stop a man of your calibre and resourcefulness?

Get some nuts and find a fire!

Or combine the two and set your nuts on fire... that'll warm you up...

In the smiling Southwest where it's greyer than any other part of the country, the sun is out for a change. Which means it's even colder than usual and I have to go and lie on the ground to put a new turbo in a rear engined two seater. The reward is that I'll get to take it out after and go for a full bore thrash. The downside is that it's a Smart car, 600cc version.
