Keeping me sane today whilst I sit in hospitals waiting for my 89 year old Mum-in-Law get treated for various injuries after collapsing in her garden.
Cardiac tests, scans, X_rays, blood tests, prodded and poked.
Going to Stoke for surgery to complex wrist fractures then might finally get food and a whisky!
What's the forum good for you?

They say that, but a lot of staff based in hospitals use mobiles. I'm based in gp surgeries and they say the same thing, but all the staff have mobiles on.

I wouldn't in ITU though!

I wouldn't in ITU though!

It won't effect any equipment, my phone is always on - ITU, theatre, radiology - I've never had or heard of anyone having any problems. Hospitals spread such rumours to reduce patient use of mobiles, although I suspect that some now-obsolete equipment may once have been vulnerable.
