The first car that YOU paid for....

In the videos it had the stock airbox but I did put in a k&n intake. If only I could make that $200 mod to the M.

I think the right rear tire in the picture is flat. LOL I was so mad about that car - My dad picked it out and said come on we're going to pick up your car. We got there and it was brown. When I told him I wanted a honda civic I pictured myself in the more sporty hatchback, not a brown sedan. It was a good car though. I drove the hell out of it and let me tell you, those rubbermaid bumpers came in handy. LOL

I still have it  . Fiance-now-wife said we're not in a hurry to sell it.

I hope she (the Prelude) won't get jealous of her newer roommate. I try to alternate taking them out for some exercises.
Makes great sense to keep it.... keeps the mileage down on th Z4

You do look like your avatar! Pretty cool 8) . Nice vid, glad you switched to the Z...much better choice..but then again, I'm not biased at all

My 1st car was a 1994 Kia Concord.... you can't get 'em in the states for some reason. :P Spent $500 on it.

Then I got my Z4.

Then my 2002.

Then my Coupe (E9)....

Then my Jeep......

1963 SAAB 96, 2 stroke, 3 cylinder, top speed 67mph, cruise at 60 all day or untill the plugs fowled out. Needed the radiator blind pulled up in the rain so he distributor wouldn't short out, but then it would over heat on the high way. None of the kids at the drive in could figure out how I got the front wheels to spin, not many front wheel drive cars around in the mid 60's.

Does anybody know what SAAB really stands for?? :driving:

Since everybody wants to know what SAAB stands for I'll tell you all: Sex, Automobiles, Airplanes and Booze, on this board it could be Broads (can I say that?).

The first car I bought was shortly after getting a decent job after university. 8)

RWD turbo goodness  with 22k miles on the clock and 3 years old for £8150 (staggering depreciation! as the invoice showed 25k new!).

EXACTLY like this.
ne-800-2.jpg

1975 Honda CVCC

1984 Ford Bronco II XLT, $1500, Orange and white with tan pinstriping

Special feature: Audible "no-look" speedometer. Different parts of the vehicle (interior AND exterior), with different resonant frequencies, would vibrate loudly depending on the speed of the vehicle. At top speed, ~80 mph, everything would shake violently, not dissimilar to an orchestra warm-up session.

Ahh, good times :D
