Interestingly porsche make their tops from lightweight metals.... Im guessing the bmw is a metal frame covered in fiberglass........ Thanks for the info......

Im thinking of getting a winch setup to allow one man fitting....

I don't have a winch, but wish I did. Had a beautiful day earlier this year, but Mrs Adamski was out and I was gutted to miss out on a roof down drive... :(

looks good, what colour you going to spray it, the same as the z4?

PS i have the same issue on my passenger side - i get some windnoise from it

hi ranski, im leaving it black and painting the A frame, mirror housing and bumper middle section BSM.... im trying to be different!! lol

yup i got the o/h to have a look and she could even notice the slighter higher section despite me actually touching the section i was talking about it really is that tiny but im a perfectionist, after 3 hours i gave up and went to work..... i dont get any wind noise at all, so im guessing its as good as i can get it!! i suppose each top is will fitting quirts as each top and car are different in some tiny way.... no window adjust was needed at all and it really looks cool in black.... makes the car look really different, very pleased with the look and 100% set on leaving it black and detailing the car to the bsm top..... bi-colour z4m :-)
