The Evora has landed

Really like this! Lovely colour combination and it looks different inside than I thought it would.

Glad to hear you're pleased with it and look forward to hearing more as you get to know it better.

Is that an Ebel watch?

Good spot - have wanted one for about 20 years and found a bargain last year :D

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments - I've managed the commute and parking in the under building parking spots a couple of times now and seems to be going well - except everyone knows when I leave

Had a serious hankering for the Ebel Discovery Chrono , dithered for years & prices now seem silly at upwards of £2000 when i could have bought one new for £1150
Couldn't convince myself they were better than Breitlings & still not sure if they are or they aren't :?

To be honest I don't really know anything about watches. I just love the slim design. I too have steadily watched them going up in price which is why when one night after having not looked at them for years I happened across one at a really good price as it was old stock, and snapped it up quickly

Old stock doesn't matter in watch world , go on Watchfinder & see some Rolex selling at 26/30/32 years old & still looking & working as they did when new ,
A nice thing to have is a quality watch  although can be eyewatering at service time when they ask for more than a Ins1 on a Z4

The reason I recognised it as I had bought my wife the same for her 40th, and I have the male version (slim line one - not the later fatter one).

Only downside is the fact I have to take it to NL to service it as they rip you off big time in the UK for the servicing, whilst in NL it is about a quarter of the price and it goes to the same central place!

I got mine for my 30th from my parents and love it, but not the battery life time (< 2 years).

** edit ** - don't tell me how much you paid for it as I had 0% discount on it :x

So after looking at a variety of different ages and engines we've finally found the one :trampoline: :trampoline:

It's older than we were planning, but has been well looked after and is such a pretty colour.

Driving home from Bristol yesterday I didn't need a radio, I just listened to the engine and even after 4 hours I wasn't bored.

It's a normally aspirated one, quite a rare colour and with the extended leather in Oyster is nice inside too

Hoping to get it out on a hoon soon :driving:

Nice ass Ruth....
I mean the car haha
Can't wait to see this in person.

Just found this Ruth ( been in Greece ) that looks superb, love the colour
Are we going to see it at the National meet ?

 Thanks Craig

Hope to be at the National. When I was buying the red one I thought I might be able to sneak at the back, but I now realise this car doesn't sneak anywhere. It sounds awesome. My drive to work has become an event each day. 8) Still miss the zed though.

Never thought about servicing costs on a watch though. Will have to look into this as the jewellers I was going to take it to wanted to charge me £270 to have two rings resized :o

Probably be a similar amount to service the watch

Used these recently for a Tag (battery) & a Breitling (service+battery) , no complaints , sealed & tested with makers seals & very reasonable rates
