...I have only just finished training him to return off lead - he had a 10m webbing lead up until last week, which was hard work, but patience has paid off.
We rescued him 5 months ago via Greyhound Gap in Stoke - he was living with his sister and both parents, a 7 year old girl, a cat and two adult heroin addicts, all in a 1 bed room flat. He had never been outside, didn't know how to play and had stitches under one eye where his sister cut him badly while fighting for the little food they were given.
We took him to group puppy training when we first had him, and 10 subsequent 1 on 1 lessons with the trainer, as he was scared of everything.
But now men, horses, motorbikes, loud stereos, fire engines, aeroplanes, helicopters, bicycles and joggers no longer phase him at all - but he really doesn't like men with tattoos still!
It's been a long journey but now he's a happy pup in loving home - and with all the crows he can chase 8)
