Looking great Marlon! I was out early for a quick wash of the car too. In bed with stomach pains now though :( no drive in the sun for me, yet...

Enjoy the good weather!

Alas I spotted a bald patch on my rears when cleaning earlier in the week. Still waiting for the new rubber to arrive. :tumbleweed:

Have been out to the beach in the Mazda today though. 8) :)

Weathers kak here, well cloudy, cold and not very summery and to top it all they just demolished two huge concrete chimneys not too far away, in fact 3 miles from where I grew up so atmosphere will be full of more crap than usual. Hoping for a bit rain and then I can clean the car again.

Off this week coming so hopefully I'll get some roof down action and some cleaning done. I bet my Dad didn't put the car covers on so I'll probably go wash their cars too.

Btw, weather in your pictures look lovely and the Z'd looks stunning.

Do you mean in your rear view mirror Buzy ?

Your car's looking stunning Marlon :happyclap: . I've been running a few errands in mine today and it always amazes me that when i drive my Zed, i never see another one. As soon as I jump in my DD, they come out of the woodwork !

Thanks for the wonderful comments everyone, a great 1000th post for me :)

Had a great drive out - Clitheroe was hosting some kind of Mod/scooter rally, some pics below.
Didn't make it to the Emporium this time Andy. Everywhere was heaving - great atmosphere though, reminded me of the National Zed meet in the Lakes - people sharing their passion and just having a good time :)

Yep - looks terrific

That looks great fun seeing all the scooters - there were quite a few on the A1 today, wondered why. :D

Your Z4 looks lovely Marlon, but what has summer got to do with it - oops, forgot the main reason I bought a Coupe! :fuelfire:

Only kidding! Enjoy it while the weather holds - it was really bright here today so nice to exercise the Z4 instead of the daily.

BTW did the scooterists get lost - Brighton is on the South Coast.

Thanks Stuart, pics of your Zed always remind me of how great 'bright red' looks.
I was saying on another thread how rare the colour is and markeg pointed out that its also know as 'Hellrot' and that he and PerryGunn - the Alpina boys - are the same colour red. There is also Kat who has a bright red 2.5 roadster, and someone else I can't remember who has a matching red hardtop for winter. Bottom line is bright red are few and far between on the forum aren't they, and even rarer out on the road - I bet you get lots of attention when your out and about too. :driving:

Hellrot is German for bright red (or light red according to Google translate)

Nice to know it's rare, according to Taz's production number info, only 38 coupés in bright red (SE & sport, no M's).

When I drove home from Ruth's, I was astonished at the attention it got. Still am, although the folks in my village are used to it now ;)

 Sweet looking zed,its this kind of thread that will end up swaying me past common sense, and i will end up with an Mroadster as my DD . :D
