Ok for top hifi Carver DSP, you need to connect 4 cable to the stock unit to trigger the stock DSP amp to receive audio signal from head unit.
1. 12v pin 15 2. 12v acc pin16 3. ground pin12 4. I-bus or k line pin 9
Then you open the radio, remove the panel, the CD, open the lower console trim, cut the plastic bar that is in your way, connect the 4 cable and put it in the big space behind it, connect headunit and done! No more hiding stock radio under seat stupid way!
I put tape to the front of the radio to prevent things from going in.
