Surely only a matter of time before a diesel Z4 becomes official. Anyone know when the E89 facelift will be due?

Off topic a little, but I love that interior... shame the exterior paint job is so horrible...
 
Yes, seeing as the TT and the SLK both have diesel versions it must surely be announced very soon.

Shaving 230kg of a standard Z4 isn't going to happen for the production model either, but 200bhp and 50mpg sounds about right.
 
the last z4 was out in 2003 face lift 2006. so could be the same so next year. It did have a different plant range so suprised the 4 pots are out in sept this year I would have thought they would so it the same time.

The Msport has already has a different front and rear bumpers which was never done on the last z4. all looked the same except the 3 had a different colour grill, and the 2.0 had one fat exahust.

well 6.9 is not that bad. There may be a few of the next face lift in that car, bit of a spoiler on the boot, air intakes on the wings.

Wonder if the carbon fibre hardtop is like the old one, and you get a fabric soft top lol.

the old z4 per and post facelift was not that evident, rear light clusters, front fogs going from round to rectangle, indicator lights from yellow to clear both on the front and the side. May be more LEd stuff on the face lift.
