So both the PDK and manual now have 7 speeds. In both instances, that additional gear only lowers the engine speed for improved fuel economy, top speed is reached in 6th gear.

Interesting, as per other recent thread I wonder how hard it will be to shift across seven gears. There is a gear indicator on the manual car to remind you which gear you are in.
