Getting into your car.......seeing grey rainclouds all around you......defying the heavens and dropping that roof........getting home without a drop.......raising roof........heavens open.......

I've had mine a week and the roof is only up when parked. It will occasionally come up if I know I'm going to be stuck in traffic for a while and it's drizzling.

Never understood people who buy convertibles never put the roof down..? Saw loads on Sunday when the weather was perfect! Sod the cold, that's what the heaters are for!

100% true. The only way to enjoy a Roadster is to ignore others who glare at you with the roof down and no sun...sod them too.

I love the feel of the Z4, the freedom in any weather...did I mention that sweet sounding 6cyl...
I remember my old Z3 2,8 (heated seats) mind but I loved that car even in the winter months!!
 
That's my plan tomorrow once I've changed the stereo... Will be up REALLY early tomorrow to get going to nowhere :D
 
I have a friend who drives a S2000 but never puts his side windows down when the top's off. He also would never consider top down on a motorway. Is this a bit like alcohol-free beer?
 
I do top down on motorway, but generally try to avoid the motorways whilst out hooning :)

Roof down on the M-Way is fine even at 90(ish) without wind deflector... Probably realised that he made the wrong choice with an S2000 and wants to keep a low profile :wink:
 
I did think about getting a pot of conkers to throw at people with the roof up when it wasn't actually raining... I was told that classed as anti social behaviour ... :evil:
