Hi guys, so as some of you know I have been to-ing and fro-ing between all the Z3’s and 4’s , however after a little thought the wife decided we didn’t need three cars between the two of us especially as I have two bmw motor bikes as well, (her : description you only have one arse)
So we decided to sell her 430d and my 1250 gs so that brought the budget up a bit, anyway long story short did a deal today and should get the car early in the week.
Details as follows,
2023 M40i , Black sapphire,
Tech, comfort, shadow line plus
I will get some photos when I pick the car up through the week.

I’ll be counting the days like a school boy at Christmas. I’ll need to do a garage clean out tomorrow as well as there has only been the two bikes in there since I built it, happy days.

Dr John, I must admit it wasn’t my first choice of colour, I liked SFRed, so took the wife to see it, her reply was I’m not wanting that red colour but I like the black and it just so happened the garage had this one with all the packs I wanted as an ex management car at a good deal.

The car is all black with black interior and wheels, if night rider had a soft top it would be this, I’ll never find in the dark,ha,ha
There is a possibility of picking it up on Tuesday, I’ll just have to wait and speak to the sales guy tomorrow to see how busy they are in the prep shop.
It’ll be a sad day when the 430 goes after having it for nine and a half years, never had one bit of trouble in that time with only a battery last year and discs and pads in that time, but it was needing some money spent on refurbishing the suspension and the discs again so we just had to weigh up wether to do that or put the impending costs towards another car

The choice of colours on a g29 is a tad disappointing IMO. I was all ready to go with Thundernight until I saw it in the flesh, similarly Skyscraper Grey didn’t do it for me at all, very boring.

I ended up with Sapphire Black with Ivory interior, sounds a bit bling but isn’t that what z4s are all about? Looks stunning with the top down 8)

Got a phone call this morning , telling me the car is ready to pick up in the late afternoon..
Sales guy was well organised , completed the paperwork and on our way with a complementary BMW cap and brolly, it was persisting down by the time we left so good shout with the brolly
Got the car home and tucked up in the garage next to the radiator , champion

Yeah, getting the hood down would be great, I have the car at work today and its sunny but cold, so its a possibility on the way home.

Go for it ! That's what the heated seats and steering wheel are for. And the main heaters are ferocious when cranked to max
