The Coupe Database

Hello tonyz4c, taz,

Great work!

LF78673 Is now in Ireland (Dublin) I just checked the DB and it’s missing from the list. Maybe because it was imported only recently. Hope this helps.

actually the option that makes me put a car in Ireland (south) is S548A Kilometer-calibrated speedometer
From the db, yours is in miles  => UK

Presumably the cars are listed by their original country, not where they are now. There are 3 more UK cars I know of that are in other parts of the world now.

Hi,

I get it and fair enough. The country of origin was definitely UK but it now resides in Ireland... I posted as I thought the database being built was about where the cars actually are :)

hi
i have finaly found the same website hosted at another url so i'm trying to scrap 3.0 Si info
Can someone help about the vin ranges used for this model ?
Actually i have LL90xxx for RHD Roadster but not idea for RHD Coupe
LV34xxx , LG19xxx, LF77xx for NA
not idea at all for LHF roadster and coupe

Thx

I haven't finished all 3si but the coupe RHD are done : 2189 for uk market

Thanks for taking the time OP!

I've probably not mastered filtering, but found my E86 on there! I knew it wasn't a rare colour, but Cirrus Aluminium trim certainly seems to be pretty unusual! :)

This is a really interesting thread and thanks for all the hard work sorting it out

I must admit it has got me thinking how many 3.0si roadsters there are in the UK

Bearing in mind if you wanted a coupe you had to go Si or M but there was no such restriction on people wanting a roady

Consistently it seems that there are far more coupes on sale than roadsters for instance on auto trader

For instance today

41 Coupes

8 Roadsters

So is the 3.0Si Roady a rarer beast than the 3.0Si Coupe ?

So I think I’ve Sussed the database and it’s showing 695 Si Roadsters as against 2189 coupes ?

Only 13 with my leather interior as well

I’m pretty sure the coupe was priced lower than the roadster, so it seems logical there were more coupes put on the road than 3.0si roadsters during 2006-2008.

Hi

i have almost finished to grab all Si models ( missing 11 on 26 000)
These are the details for UK
Z4 3.0SI (EUR) COUPE RHD Automatic 593
Z4 3.0SI (EUR) COUPE RHD Manual 1596
Z4 3.0SI (EUR) ROADST RHD Automatic 267
Z4 3.0SI (EUR) ROADST RHD Manual 695

which means that for coupe only in UK
M-COUPE (EUR) RHD Manual 592
Z4 3.0SI (EUR) COUPE RHD Automatic 593
Z4 3.0SI (EUR) COUPE RHD Manual 1596

Wow, fantastic work Tony!

I suppose there may be less 3.0Si Roadsters than Coupes because there were other engine options in Roadsters, but not for Coupes.

But I'm surprised that more than 25% of Coupes were Autos. :o Still it does mean I've now had 2 of less than 1,600 Manual ones! :)

Looks like only 11 Montego Coupes with Cirrus trim and we've got 2 of them 8)

Very exclusive!

And now Gehil has put a 3rd one up for sale!

But only 4 had Pearl Grey leather! :o

i have updated my website to add a total production page per Z4 model (Z3 as well )
http://perso.numericable.fr/tonyz4c/production.html
not sure to understand why links are not working anymore :(

Sorry it still isn't working tony, although copying the address and pasting it does work.

I'm sure I read the other day that links from the forum only work with an "https" prefix now - hopefully that means more to you than it does to me! :)

Many thanks for sharing the database - interesting reading. Seems like my Coupe Si Auto in Black Sapphire, Individual Champagne leather and brushed aluminium trim is one of only three in the UK. I’m surprised by that! :)
