I was just thinking the exact same thing - would love one that cool but not certain it will fit in a 400 year old cottage

Yes it is a lovely staircase. Mind you I think I would have a problem in fitting one too. We have a bungalow! Congratulations to Mrs J. The tree looks brilliant.

Lovely staircase as others have said,a few trees died in making that.
Tree looks very colourful.

Had the very same thought end up landing on that tree the wife would not be happy after all that work she put in.

Would not feel to guilty about killing the trees as that tree was grown to be felled as most likely were the trees that supplied the timber for your staircase.
