As for the way history is taught in Scotland - that certainly wasn't my experience growing up, but that was a few years ago. That's definitely wrong, and fuels the 'disaffected youth' who have been gifted a right to vote that they should never have been. I still can't believe Cameron actually agreed to that tbh, though I'm hoping it backfires...

The teaching of propaganda is widespread, the US concentrates on US History and Geography, Canada spends an inordinate amount of time on the 400 years of Canadian history, all to the detriment of the students who learn virtually nothing of other countries. I meet people regularly who have no clue where anything north of the 49th parallell is...
