hello again everyone

have any of you driven across the black mountains?
i only had the zed 3.5 weeks and every weekend Ive wanted to do that run the weather has been awful :x
Its the road from Brynammen to llangarrog (sorry about the spelling!)
apparently its a wicked drive

if you are referring to the 'black mountains' as the pot holes and speed bumps on the shi* UK roads then yes ! every single day to and from work...

on a serious note, i havent but they do sound good. might look into it.

Lots. Its a fantastic road as you say, well worth the trip.....

The road from Swansea to Sennybridge is also a great fast drive (if you watch out for the camera vans!) and one route over the Black Mountains with stunning views over the top is a B road (don't know the number) that leaves the A4067 on the left, not far past Tafarn-y-Garreg, just north of Glyntawe, and hits the A40 at Trecastle.

If you ever want to entertain a g/f in style, come up to Llandovery and head up past Rhandirmwyn to Llyn Briane reservoir, watch the sun go down, then head back to Talley and dine her in the Angel at Salem one of the most outstanding restaurants in Mid Wales....

It's a lovely run (and it's Llangadog BTW), and I used to do it quite often when I worked down that way and stayed in Crickhowell.

Used to use it as part of my way home from Port Talbot to Liverpool - as long as I wasn't in a rush.

There are lots of lovely roads through the Brecon Beacons / Black Mountaints, but some do get closed due to the MOD.
Here are some others...

It is, but watch out for the car 'taking off' at some points, and be prepared for landing on the opposite side of the carriageway than you intended

At first I was confused, I thought you meant the Black Hills in the USA...
then I saw the pic of that beautiful road.....I think I need to take a trip to Wales some day. It looks like a great place to drive. Ours are either long and boring or windy and covered in potholes .

( I went there once, if you can count going to Chester and crossing the street into Wales)

I stopped videoing my jaunts quite a while ago, once the police became interested in prosecuting speeders/'dangerous/careless' drivers based on the owner's own video evidence :P

However, here's a couple of videos to whet your appetites...

These are not my videos, just videos I linked to in youtube - hence, these cars are not mine :P

I've uploaded very few videos, and the ones that have been uploaded are all from trackdays, like this...
