The best looking Z4 I've seen.....still.

I think car design suits certain colours (if that makes sense). Just seems that most modern designs seem to look good in white. Some don't mind! I don't think Mercs look right in white.

I also don't think it is the best colour for the new Z4 (ah, that's probably because Mercs don't! :P ).

Has anyone seen the new Focus RS in white!! Now that's nice!

I have to agree, the white coupe is probably the best Z4 i have seen, although 6speeds its equally as amazing. It would certainly be my choice should budget allow, rather have that than the new Z4 anyday.

Speaking of which, if i had 30-35k to spend on a new motor, i would rather have a used 911 or similar than the new Z4 anyway....

White doesnt date, i always read this rubbish!!
These cars do and always have done look the best in white:-

Sierra Cosworths = white
Escort RS mk1 and 2 = white
Integra Type R = white

Thats the 80's and 90's cleared up!

Colours never really date, they just become not so in vogue.

White's always been offered as a no cost base colour on most new cars, alongside red and sometimes flat black. Just look to the warmer European countries many of their cars are white, even some models that aren't offered here in white.

I believe it's the car that becomes dated not the colour, read TT mark 1. If it's a nice looking model, in a nice colour that suits the car then it will always look timeless in my opinion.

How would one go about making or getting a rear under spoiler like that one?

Roman posts as Rom3n on Zpost - you can look him up and ask him. IIRC, his body shop guy said getting it right was such as hassle that he'd never do another. Here's the page for both parts: http://www.ac-schnitzer.de/en/bmw-cars/product/z4-new/z4-roadster-e85-coupe-e86-2002-2008/z4-m-coupe/aerodynamics/

I personally would never have a white car, they look old well before their time.

Not even a good colour for a tiger, ghost or a rhino. It’s just so last year.

Is that your white Porsche at the bottom of your page? :poke:

Havard, if you’d waited just another six months you would have been the first post in a decade in this thread

Might be. That car will never look old. Some cars suit certain colours, you can’t just write off a car or a colour, certain things go hand in hand depending on the lines and overall design.
