The irony here of course is that this thread in itself contains most of the potential winners.

I think 'best thread' is too vague.
It should be divided into more specific categories such as 'most humorous' or 'most informative'
For me some of the best threads are those which have allowed me the courage to do my own mods such as fitting a mfsw, cruise control, aux input etc. whilst other best threads have been purely entertaining such as the bad/good joke thread
