The best decision I have mad all year

 Mine are still on too, probably coming off in the next couple of weeks, but we had hailstones here yesterday and there's snow up on the fells near me :o

Haha... I removed mine last month... As my winters felt a bit twitchy when it reached 15+ degrees a few weeks ago.

But going by the weather at the moment maybe i should have left them on!

Think my winters would be scrubbed by now if i had left them on. Fortunately the temperature is just about holding up down here, but it is feckin' wet and greasy right now. So I am 'enjoying' some corners on my summers :D

Had mine taken off on the pug late April, was originally booked for before Easter but changed my mind when blizzard conditions struck and we had long drive on the continent planned. Just been to ATS to inquire how much winter tyres for the zed would be, preferably not runflats. Felt a right tw*t when mechanic pointed out to me that he wouldn't recommend it to me as if I did have a flat, I wouldn't have a spare tyre. Didn't realise zeds didn't

Tyreweld and a pump and/or breakdown cover.
Sorted.

In the boot ! I never looked that closely.
:D Seriously I wouldn't worry about what the fitter said. I've been driving since in 1964 and only had one puncture when in transit and then I was unable to remove the spare wheel because of a faulty locking nut requiring roadside assistance. Most people have ditched run flats for normal rubber for a better ride and carry a pump and tyre sealant and have AA/RAC cover.
