Right then.

Picked up my '55 plate 3.0 litre BEAST today and gave it a proper tonking across my favourite country lanes - well happy !

Yes, before you ask: photos to follow ! I am just awaiting beter weather and need to put the old SLR battery on charge - honest !

Minor issue - the auto dropping of the drivers window dropped all the way down today on opening the door - seemed a bit random as only did it once - could this point to a fault ?? :?

On my Coupe if you press the button once to open the doors then press and hold it again for 3 secs it opens the windows (same in reverse when locking the car). Not sure if the roadster may be different. On my old S2000 the windows would go down automatically when you dropped the electric hood. I realise that doesn't help you :D

Pretty sure I wasn't holding down then open door button: only happens on entrering the car, and not all the time. Will wait and see...

Good choice  have a look at the sound generator thread if you want a bit more noise when tonking it both lumps of foam are out of mine

some cars are setup with easy entry it's a programmable option - this drops the window when you open the door. Good for fat people i guess :D

'beast' lol - you must be used to very slow cars indeed. I'd describe it as 'brisk' - and yes I also have a 3.0.
Then again I thought an F40 was 'alright'.....I guess when you've been on the back of a sports bike cars just seem a bit slow.

I believe the window will drop if the unlock button is pressed twice before opening the door, useful in a car park if you cant open the door all the way, was really useful in my E46 coupe not so much in the Z, its not been activated.
