I'm not totally convinced those midges in scotland are numerous........... puts fort mcmurray to shame......

It's not midges we collect, it's all the grasshoppers and other large bugs that infest the western countryside. (although the fort mac mosquitos are a force to be reckoned with !)

I just spent two hours cleaning the car, 30 minutes on the main bodywork and an hour and a half just on the front end (after a 2000km trip to Kamloops area and back)

:tumbleweed: :tumbleweed:

Did you have a pint of Grasshopper afterwards to revive yourself?........ I miss it now I don't go to Calgary anymore..

 Grasshopper, to drink, not my fave....but I did have a Heineken, it's all that was in the fridge.... :D
I spent some formative years about 2 miles from the actual "Big Rock" (near Okotoks) and used to like their "Traditional" , now I drink Mexican dishwater (Corona) or old Scotch (Bowmore).

Darn, I just have the Rockies as a backdrop .... :poke:

How about "Odd places for a Zed to be..." ??

We are responsible for our own actions......if someone wants to park it under a wrecking ball to take a pic it's their choice....

By the way, I've seen a few pics of the Scottish mountainsides on this forum and they are remarkably similar to the Rockies, maybe a bit more wee but look good all the same..
