The April 2010 Photo Competition - COMMENTS GO HERE

Some of them are very good on here, the standard is certainly high, most impressive.

However defo not to pro level (odd exception), ok I'm a very harsh critic but there is often a big difference between good amatuer and a good pro. Pro has the obviousd advtage of kit, i.e £10k+ worth in most cases, but also its the small technical details they get right that us viewing as amatuers don't even notice until they are pointed out.

Agreed, you see that in your rear view mirror it's get out of the way time :(

Hmm a lot of good pics here, think I will have to be a bit more "arty" in next months effort :)

I am definitely going to vote for myself....and during our last presidential election I learned about the concept of "be sure to VOTE and vote often"!!! Besides that the car is new to me (an '03 with 103K miles qualifies it as used to the rest of the world), a great price, cleaned up decent, runs and drives like a fine Casio watch. I took the picture outside my home and didn't even adjust the photo...all that deserves a vote. Oh yeah...first BMW also! :) John

I always vote for the best picture wich is always turn out to be mine so...no prbolem  Kiddin... Great pictures guys great pictures
Last month...though

Some really good pictures - I do however think I'm getting a bit bored :?

Can we have some Themes....?

I know that the Christmas one was a bit small but we should be able to do better with all these photoshoppers

Ah, well how about:

Urban
In Motion
Reflections
Sporting
Black and White
Humour
Travel
Love
Indoor

I just think it will get people thinking a bit and give us more than the usual. Not that I don't enjoy looking through the pictures every month, reminds me why I love the Z4.

Ben., I am going to post a poll to see what the interest is. I did the same for the Xmas theme and a fairly high number wanted it but the participation was not very good. The May contest will be as it was for April.

Cheers!
I think the bad weather in the UK was the main reason for the bad turn out at Christmas...
Lets see..
