So much for washing the car. P*ssed it down all day here and just about dark now at 2.50...

You can see here resplendent in motorway grime on Sunday :)

managed to get mine ready to wash, buckets full.. as the heavens opened....
So I put my coat on and got on with the job at hand like a proper man ;)

ditto, altho id done the worst of it before it started, just the dark got me

Mine got done yesterday, and just been out in the pissing rain in it, so it's now filthy again!!! I think we're gonna have the best of the UK weather tomorrow whatever it may be. :D

Great meet and run out guys and girls :D

Sorry I left half way through the return run. If I had known we were going up that way, I'd have said I'd be dropping out where I did, as it is only 7 miles from my front door! I hope I didn't cause any confusion?

Had loads of fun and will be coming again, cheers for organising!

bet they are still out looking for you :poke:

So, we all got there in good time, except for Lucy who was still fast asleep in bed when we texted her to find out where she was! :D Probably just as well you didn't drive after a hard night's partying!

Anyway, I didn't take too many photos, I was too busy bailing water out of the car on the cruise!

But before we left, I spotted a foreigner in our midst:

I don't think Aebous likes having his piccy taken!

Thanks everyone for a great time! Hope you all enjoyed it!

Spokey, thanks for organising such a good cruise!

the afternoon session was very very interesting indeed.

good show and it was good to meet a load of new faces.

Andy, I hope you were happy with the video and quality.

regards

Dario

Great day out and thanks to Spokey for organising it.

Some interesting stretches of road and challenging mixture of weather to keep us honest. I think the 1966 Landcrab in the tree was a good reminder that the 'slippery road' signs were there for good reason.

Good to meet friends of old and new

Spokey, thanks for organising a great day out, the bilge pumps have just about cooled down!! See you all soon.

For those of us discussing the crashed car we saw, here's what I think was embedded in the tree....

The grey 'E' Reg looks pretty close to the rear end design.

There's no denying we really knew how to build ugly cars

Was a great day, thanks Spokey, and great to see the Z1

Good to meet you all (that made it :poke: )... interesting driving conditions nice to see everyone man-up! :driving:

(think I left it on the wrong ISO)

Andy, thanks, I now think my life won't be the same without a M in it! Monster exhaust

Home by 6:30 too!

Thanks again Spokey for organizing! I had an awesome time and can't wait to do it again. I do love pics, but I try to make a goofy face in most pictures! I'm amazed and still trying to figure out why/how I didn't take any pics. I have been trying to cut down, but not to that extent. I had a slow drive home thanks to traffic :( but still made it with no problems (sat-nav rules).

My blinker didn't act up once on me the rest of the way home....funny the gremlins come out over here. I think I'm going to put a bell on my car like the motorcycle guys do.

Oh btw, hi again to one of the other z4 folk (couldn't remember who's car it was) that somehow came up from behind me on the A1. I thought I had pulled out after everyone else but I guess I didn't.

Was faffing about with my headlight for a bit and then somewhat overzealous on the way home, overshot a junction by about a mile

Try and hang on to that number plate for as long as possible

Or they got lost.

Very glad everyone enjoyed it!

I do apologise for that, i didn't get in until 3.30am and could not have got up at 7.30 and drove 300 miles!

Thanks for waking me up by the way :poke: I went back to sleep after you text and eventually got up and ready at 1pm, went for dinner with a few friends and then went back to sleep when i got in

Hope you all had a great day and hopefully i will be at the next one.
