Maybe it's worth sticking a post to this in the General section? I think the Meet's Stickies is a little out of the way where people usually scan the forum (i certainly missed it till Lucy told me...)

Maybe worth a shot for what seems to be the last of 2009? :thumbsup:
 
Yeah that's exactly what i thought. I sent Ed a link on MSN as i didn't think he had seen it and i was right.

Most people use the "new posts" button on the top of the page, don't they? It always shows up in there, as long as there's activity in the thread.

Maybe "people" need to change the way they scan the forum. :wink: :poke:

Well, it's an hour past when I said I was going to close the cruise and people still haven't confirmed with me. I will therefore assume that those people who have not PMed me their details are definitely not coming. I will be confirming numbers to the pub now. :thumbsup:
 
Some good news for the indecisive types! :evil:

The pub has given us their function room (I warned them about the scurvy types who'd be lowering the tone of the establishment!) So you don't have to tell me now, but it would be great if you could confirm some time today! :thumbsup:

I'm afraid that a bid I am working on is now scheduled to go over into the weekend.

Eeek I've just seen this too, funny it seems more hidden as a Sticky than just on the page, and it wasn't coming up in New / Popular posts..

Anyhoo, might be able to make it, gonna read back through and discover the details.
 
Will speak to the missus, ur 90mins /70m away so would be rude not to. Means I'll definitely have to give it a quick wash before Sunday then too.
 
Spokey, any ideas on the rough mileage of the run? Itll be almost 200 before i even start!

I'm a bit curious about all this. It's been in my "new posts" all the time. And when it isn't I've bumped it. :?

Anyway, we have the place for people, it would just be nice if you could let me know whether you're coming or not so the pub can be prepared.

been in "new posts" for me too.. (now i've found it)
but i don't think as many people use the "new posts" button as you may think :P

And if they don't, it's well hidden in the meets/events section... something about the stickies being seperated from the main posts makes you miss it :|

About 110. But please, PLEASE fill up when you get to the start, because you WILL use more petrol than you are used to. :wink:
