Driving home in sport and sport+ the yellow triangle with exclamation mark and the skidding car off symbol have vanished.
Also didn't come up as the warning banner on iDrive.
Not sorry to see them go, but why they gone?

Have you pressed the BC button maybe, and cycled to another screen display?
Mine is a manual and lights up when I hold the traction control button down for a few seconds to turn it all off. Never noticed it go away though?
 
Normally should only come on in Sport+ mode.

Possibly the wheel speed sensor.
Happened intermittently on my E90.

A code read should tell you which one it is.
Takes 5mins to change once the wheel is removed.

When you are ordering they will ask if you have active steering. The answer is no.
 
I thought a faulty wheel speed sensor would put the light on to tell you there's an issue?
In this case the query is why the light has gone out when it should be on?
 
Always came on, anything but Normal mode my car.
Both skidding car and triangle.

I have had some time flickering brake on light when eBrake pulled on.
I think it might be lose wire under centre console, seems to stay on if i mess around the gear lever gaiter.

Also happens when the speed sensor is dirty.
Then you find it coming on and staying on for long periods of time until (for example) a car wash or hose down or rain which may clean it a bit... until the next time.
