That time of the year, Insurance renewal

Just had my renewal quote come through for the Z4 35is SDrive, that's me, the wife, social only, fully comp\protected, garaged, tracker and 8k miles per annum, I'm with L&V £347.

As normal I use the Confused.com to compare prices and as usual L&V come out cheaper at £255 so I will be phoning them up to get it down to that if they want to keep me, which is what usually happens, got £100 off the other car last year.

Privilege came out cheapest at £233 but I will stay with L&V.
 
Im in the same boat, got my renewal through at £501 (26 with 8yrs no claims) did a search on money supermarket and confused.com, and got it for £366 through Swift Cover. Result 8)
 
just paid mine today! went through Chris knott, Admiral quoted £560 to begin with the Adrian flux got it down to £520 then chris knott smashed it with £450! 27 5 yrs ncd, girlfriend on the policy and unlimited milage! insured through LV

Swift always seem to come up cheapest for whatever car I get the quote. However, I have never used them because their reviews are so bad. I wonder if anyone on here has any first hand experience of making a claim with Swift and if they could choose who did the repair and if if was with BMW parts?
