Siftah - without doubt programming the key to do it is the cheapest way, but that only came to the fore a couple of years back as the Indy's got better equipment. One touch I'm not sure if that is programable or not?

I've never seen anything to suggest that one-touch is programmable either.

In terms of the Rheinhold modules, best to contact Andreas Rheinhold direct and get a much better price. I've purchased about 7 or 8 in total (for UK and US friends) and got way lower prices than direct purchase or ebay.

You're approach of intercepting the signal sounds interesting, but beyond my technical understanding :?

It's on my list of projects - from what I understand so far, all the buttons on the dash and key fob generate messages on the iBus. So in theory at least it should be possible to intercept those messages and then inject further messages into the iBUS.

eg: Detect 4 sequential "open" presses off the keyfob, then have something inject some more key presses or a long keypress to bring the roof down.

My car is one of the ones where remote-roof down works by holding the keyfob button down after opening, so I'm sure I could get this working. It's just remote-up that I think needs enabling with the AutoTool (?) equipment - or whatever it's called.

I have my car booked in my local independent in Burton -on-Trent who have an autologic for next Tuesday (i want the triple indicators, auto up and memory seat for one key)

The guy I spoke too there was 99% sure he could program one touch up and down from the key fob - but he said without plugging it in he cant be 100% sure.
