That football match

On a more serious note though, how can Merkle ban us English from travelling to Germany without having to quarantine, but allow German fans who have travelled to London to watch the match to return home? Perhaps the virus doesn't infect loosing team fans?

The German fans at the match didn't travel from Germany - There were ~1,800 German fans at Wembley but the quarantine/travel restrictions meant that tickets were only made available to Germans resident in the UK

Of course there’s all the pillocks at Wimbledon to consider!
Then they will wonder why 20,000 new cases!

The number of new cases are rising and will continue for a while yet. Few deaths which is good for us but other countries just look at the case numbers so keep us out. Desperately need a holiday but no chance for a while yet me thinks.

Hope its all sorted by Christmas

perhaps it’s these sort of events that’s spreading it?

Would be interesting to know if other countries still involved(not being Germany of France  ) are having spikes in infections

well who knew we'd win a thing 4-0... just what we need going into the semis, two good games on the bounce.
A lot is being made of not conceding any goals.
What's the betting they concede just 1? In a 1-nil loss in either of the next two rounds?

who knows! the pundits said that simply not conceding any goals isnt going to win you a tournament, you need to go out and score goals too. but the last 2 games have shown we can not concede goals and score goals, so... who knows!

My wee Scottish wifey is now hoping England win it, so she can say Scotland were the only team to get anything off them.
