Almost impossible to replicate that sound of the m3 engine when accelerating in ones chosen gear but its utter heaven , still recovering from some great overtaking moves today past several dull tintops , wow its a nice hard edged growly sound , a bit of a drug ! ( the wife was getting a bit edgy too at the end of the run )

507hp on pump fuel and around 540ish bhp with methanol/water injection on.

i had ALways planned to sell the car at the 5 year mark which was september gone, that was always my statement from day one, but...... in the cold light of day, i would not want to spend as much on a car like this again, it would need to be purchased form the factory with all the right bits already in place, this particular car became like an experiement of how far i could push something relatively normal, the answer, was..... rather far.!!!!! lol
Whenever i think about selling it, i then think, why??? no point really, i think id rather stick it on the other side of the garage and keep it, but yeah...... if i had a solid offer, i think i would sell. (i feel sick saying it!!) lol, this car and i have a special bond.... she looks, feels, drives like a mini exotic.... and that feels pretty special i genuinely LOVE it. A walk in the garage makes my night.
i'll probably make the push and get another "special" car.... but the problem with that is it becomes very very expensive. i always wanted a campervan with porsche turbo running gear

The only thing the S54 in the Z4 needs is a bit more noise, either from the intake, exhaust, or both
There must be some intake/exhaust noise pumped into the cabin as mine was quieter externally than internally and it always seemed pointless to floor it in tunnels - not anymore though, now it's windows down every tunnel/underpass I drive through 8)

CSL intake on a z4m would be sex, a proper CSL intake. Then again evolve have a piece so ouzzing with quality it kills me!!!! look at THIS... proper speed density tune needed however.

Whats the most power anyones got out of the ///m? Surely anything over 600bhp would be a bit of a waste? Cant see there being enough grip or does suspension make all the difference?

when the carbon doors are released i will have a set shipped, no doubt.
The turbo HPF units are making insane power, and i mean insane power like 900+ hp this is on a sleeved s54 with the same 3.2 and uprated internals,.... which imo, is silly, they are however very reliable, im happy with my power level now, i want to take weight out of the car but leave it perfectly driveable and have the creature comforts inside. My next quest will be..... Loose some weight, watch this space!!!!
