Off to Thassos Sunday - same day as the proposed referendum :cry: Got got plenty of euros and pounds as it looks as though the ATM's will be empty :(

Hopefully no turbulence there or back - hate flying :cry:

Best beach holiday ever we stayed on golden beach a few years ago takes a while to get there though as you have to get the boat to the island enjoy :driving:

That's where we stay - been going back for so many years :D we hire a car for the whole fortnight just to get up the bay to Scala Potamia each night to eat at the tavernas right by the sea :D :D :D :D :D
 
So your wife misses Wimbledon and you get caught up in chaos - she will never talk to you again :rofl:
 
Just got back from Athens on Sunday night, was a little concerned going there at this time but all was well and had a fab trip. Took extra Euros just in case.

The islands will always be a safer bet than the mainland.

Enjoy your trip, I love the greek Islands, this year is the first time in about 6 years I am going anywhere else!!
