Hello everyone, now that I`ve put a few miles on the Z4MC I thought I was getting the hang of the handling so last few hoons have been sans DSC as it puts the power down so much more cleanly. Jeez the roads are greasy at the moment, am loving driving it sideways though so came up to a nice wide roundabout near where I live and opened her up on turn in, whooaaaaa! She snapped soo bloody quickly, wasn`t really 100% prepared but caught it. If someone was watching it probably would have looked pretty cool as was VERY sideways, missed the exit I wanted, took the next one and accelerated away. What wouldn`t have looked so cool was if anyone could have seen my face, I think I must have looked scared! Not advocating this behaviour of course! Has anyone else got tales of getting caught out?

I did something similar a couple of days after getting mine.

I was approaching one of my favourite slippy roundabouts that I've done about 1,000 times in my M5. Switched the DTC off, put it in Sport mode and had my foot feathering the pedal until I reached the point of no-return.

I planted the pedal to break the back end away...and ended up facing the wrong way on the roundabout

I love this time of year in the UK, out on a sunday morning, the dew still on the trees and road, and about 35 degrees of slip angle all managed by the right foot !

Nothin like this yet...
I think its down to the superior grip the 2.0 seem to have....just can wiggle that arse out..

it is mentally slippy at the moment, seem to have had a lot more unexpecteds recently, mostly fun but the one that isn't is a long time forgotten.

might be time to do a drift day, finally.
