Hi all,

I never got round to buying the Z4, infact i decided to change my 30 plus years of motoring routine.

Last few weeks ive been walking a 2 hour roundtrip to work.

Its been a game changer for me ( a serious petrolhead).

Anyway i wanted to say thanks for the engagement , advice and apologies if i wasted anyones time and enjoy driving your gorgeous cars.

This forum is a bit more than just owning a Z4. It's also about health issues, personal feelings and life's knocks. It's also full of humour (which is sometimes risky on paper). I can lend you your bus fare if you like. See what I mean! Good luck to you.
 
Seriously why not spend a couple of grandish and get a great weekend car,spend another few pounds on a raleigh Griffter for commute,win win

I had a light blue Raleigh grifter when I was a kid, bloody loved it, then they did facelift version in black with a longer back mudguard. My mate had one of those, nowhere near as cool. So if you do get a grifter the blue one is the one to go for!

I actually had a blue grifter back in 1979 :thumbsup:

Bus fare ha ha ive bought some excellent walking footwear and a better coat as its a bit cold at 6am.

Weekend toy and walk? I did think about it but i would succumb to the car and stop walking. Its a lifestyle change which even though its tiring, cold, rainy, dark is giving me a buzz.

Totally appreciate that car forums are about more than just cars :thumbsup:
