Asked a question about whether to keep my 295s or change for bigger wheels. Thanks to everyone who made suggestions. One of the suggestion was 230s by ‘Heavymetalthunder’ ‘Mr Wilks’,as usual, was a mine of information and pointed me in the direction of some excellent wheels which I have now bought. They arrived this morning and are now on the car.
I am really pleased with them.
So thanks again to the Forum and it’s very knowledgeable members.9FAA8759-53EA-4787-814C-1B4758DB8EE7.jpeg2F048F89-9DF7-450E-8EE6-A769876E3C2F.jpeg9D6D5F5E-03C0-4DFD-AA86-36F741B7BCB3.jpeg

Not blowing smoke over them :D they do look so right on the car Ian , kept the Oe stock appearance yet subtly upgraded to enhance the looks 8) additionally the increase in tyre profiles has also done you no harm whatsoever , dare i say you may not be the last to go for the 230s on E89

( worth checking your cars speedo against a TomTom or similar to gauge where its at , most likely more accurate now as opposed to overreading  )

Thanks Andy. I ‘m really pleased with them. They arrived very quickly too. I have a TomTom so will check the speedo as you suggest.
Cheers and thanks for all your help.

Very nice
I’ll have to agree mr wilks has a very keen eye when it comes to wheels and tyres and know of only one faux par in his long and varied selection :poke:

Faux pas  those grey Quantums on E89  there have been a few others that barely made it off the drive before they were up for sale :D

Thanks for the positive comments everybody. As you can probably guess I am really pleased. The thing is what do I do next. Any suggestions?

Not a bad idea Andy. But we are already going to Borrowdale because we can take the dogs. So it will have to be in the 330d.78E90938-3828-4A10-901D-4A02E3EB1E54.jpeg

Bearing in mind there is ‘no such thing as a free lunch’. I am wondering how long it will be before Mr Wilks starts to charge for giving such high quality advice? :(

Happy to be polite and appreciative to decent folk who populate this Forum. I have had a lot of useful advice but inevitably in any group of people there are always a few w****** like you who have no manners.
