Damn that is very nice. The stipe is so discrete i can bearly see it.

I looked at one of those last yr when buying my Z... very nice cars and drives much better then my Z.... but the decision point for me was i wanted a MFSW! and finding a cayman with that and xenons is like a needle in a haystack!

You're right about finding a car with all the option boxes ticked...very difficult. I had a list in mind but that went out the window when I saw this one...just couldn't resist. Most options can be retro-fitted anyway (at a price) but there's nothing I really miss once I get behind the wheel :driving:

Seriously though, can't say I've had any issues in this respect - do you mean the 3 blinks for a brief press of the stalk thing?

Superb!

Looks identical including the wheels (apart from the stripe) to my father-in-law's Cayman S. The stripe - Porsche Design model? I've got first refusal on his when he sells it (won't be for years) but TBH it's probably still going to be worth more than I'm willing to spend on any car. The bugger still hasn't given me a drive of his yet though!

Anyway how are you finding the ride after the Z4? These Design models came with PASM as standard didn't they?? And are the stripes vinyl, or painted on like a Lotus Elise?

Yeah, you're right, it does have PASM as standard. When it isn't in sport mode I would say the ride is very similar to the Z4 but it does adapt the damping rates to how you are driving so if you're pushing on a bit it will stiffen up even in the non-sport setting. The stripes are vinyl which I see as a good thing as they can easily be removed if I fancy a change.

The only thing I can honestly say is a bit disappointing is the Bose surround sound system...for a top spec option it's a bit rubbish! If I was buying again I would look for one without satnav then add an aftermarket double-din satnav/sound system.

When I eventually sell the Z a Cayman is top of the list to replace it, and yours is one of the prettiest Ive seen. I even like the fact that you can barely see the stripe, very subtle
