Love the colour.

I think I saw that car, or one very similar, at our Ace Cafe meet a few years ago.

Very nice car, you’ve already got the most important mod already, the stubby :poke: and nice wheels. Well done

Six previous owners, low for a car that age, and no accident history. Fix the rear brake pipes would be my advice if you want to spend some pennies on the car.

I would second the suggestion on checking out the brake pipes at the rear, where the hard lines emerge in the rear left wheelarch they get a battering and corrode quite badly. My 2003 2.5 actually cleaned up well and were treated to some smoothright paint and the flex hoses replaced with stainless braided hoses. The hard lines were treated with plastic split conduit to give them some added protection where they emerge into the wheelarch. The line that crosses the rear to the offside can be replaced without removing the fuel tank, bitof a faff but it can be done.
