So today I very nearly lost my Zed and had a bad accident.

Joined the A3, inside lane gets congested with M25 traffic and was standstill.

I came over into the middle lane and some tosser decided he wanted to join the M25 queue and stopped (I was still around 200-300 yards from this and travelling at around 50MPH)

I saw this and went to go into the outside lane but there was a car there doing around 50MPH who had no one in front but had a queue of people behind, so there I accelerated to get in front of the car to my right I am now doing 70MPH, indicated and started to come over, I am now 2-3 car lengths in front.

Glad nothing serious happened to you, that sounds unpleasant. I use the same road myself daily and there is always a tail-back on that m25 junction, with some cheeky b*stards trying to cut in last minute...

Take care out there xD

Thanks! Like you say there is always someone trying to cut in last minute which causes tailbacks for everyone else!

Are you local to me then?

DSC is worth it's wait in gold when your just driving normally. It's those moments when your not anticipating a problem that it comes in to it's own, because it never looses concentration.. Glad it all turned out fine. :)

Aye it gets the heart rate going when you have a moment.i pulled out to overtake a sunday driver but a wet road and slight hump resulted in back end stepping out and yellow light flashing and that was in 3rd gear! Traction control a usefull safety net :driving:
