TEXTAR EPADS- anyone else using them?

Agree regarding ebc red and yellow, I had red on an e36 years ago and they were dangerous when cold, green however are just as good as oem when cold and don’t fade when you get them hot.

Green pads are the best for road.

Textar Epads only real benefit is low dust, which I appreciate. No performance gains are claimed. They perform very much like the original BMW pad, I would say maybe slightly less initial bite when cold, slightly less fade when hot. Treat it as a like for like performance wise, but with a lot less wheel cleaning. They are a quality product from an OEM supplier, no squeal, no fitting problems, no friction material breaking away (unlike some multi-coloured offerings!) but a bit expensive.

Just to go back to my original question regarding Epads, does anyone know if they're still available at other suppliers and its just that ECP have stopped supplying them, or are they actually been discontinued? Its a shame if they are and I did think the EBC Green stuff were a decent alternative until reading this which Im now questioning. I know they had some problems with friction material separation/falling apart about a decade ago. But I was under the impression that since circa 2011 they have got they're act together by changing the compounds, ironing out some manufacturing issues and have been fine ever since. Is this not true?

If your car is a 3.0i pre-facelift M54 then Textar still list the epad Textar part No 2328781 Front and 2193481 Rear.

ECP dont have them on their main site, many others have the front widely available, the rears less so BUT ECP have both front and rear showing as in stock on their ebay store. Just a tip, searching part numbers is always better than vehicle application

 thanks

I'm relatively keen to try bluestuff - good things seem to have been said about them.

As a rule mind, I'm not at all impressed with the brake feel on a z4.
