My 4 has now done 31600 miles and has been useing oil about 1lt per 1,000 miles mobil one.
Just lately driving it as it was made for (heavy boot) and top shelf fuel.
It seems to have stoped it's thirst of texas tea ????
is this the norm???
Ive done about 4k in mine since ive had it and i never checked the oil :? So on that note my engine should of seized long ago are you sure your using that much oil are you overfilling?
Or is that just the 2.2 engine that does this ?
I can't recall my 2.2 using that much oil in the 2.5 years that i had it and i've still got the 1ltr bottle in the garage which is 3/4 full,but it only did 10k in that 2.5 years it was only a w/end toy and i've a heavy right foot :?
