Test Your Internet Speed

I look after the comms for 12 sites over the UK, 6 of them Industrial locations and as of today only my home can be enabled for FTTC.

Ont of them in Devon struggle to get 2Mb so I am really surprised the demand isn't there.

Anyone had issues with Virgin recently, with viewing pics and apps not downloading properly etc? I raised it 2 months ago, and apparently Virgin only found out last Friday....problem with their software it seems...

Virgin Media 100Mbit - its nippy 8)

I get around 99Mbps download and around 5Mbps upload with Virgin. However, a better test to see how fast you dowload is to actually download a file: http://download.thinkbroadband.com/1GB.zip

busy day so decided to test..... since having a new superhub ( 2 days ago) my speeds are much better and totally consistant, i thought i had 100mb, i dont i have 60mb, so these are pretty consistant!!! anyone on virgin having issues, get them on the phone to run all the tests... ive needed a new modem for a while it would seem!!

HELP!! Internet speed down to 0.19mb/s

Coincidently had a salesman come to the door 4 hours ago telling me Talk Talk had introduced a new modem/server thingy at the telephone exchange and can triple my internet speed - was I interested?
And now my usual poor 3.6Mb/s has reduced to almost nothing.

Happened to me before, BT were throttling my line!
