Test drove two Z4s today - wow what a difference!

I'm still on the look out for an E85 3.0! It's been a couple of weeks now and everyday I hope there is one for sale that ticks all the boxes...but to no avail! It's really frustrating but I think it'll be worth it eventually when I get the right one!

How long did everyone here wait to find their perfect Zed?

I have a 2003 3.0 and just love it, it's an auto with tiptronic ( I think that's what it's called ) and it goes like stink, plenty of grunt and sounds awesome too.

Bought my first Zed in 2 weeks - was lucky

Once I knew what I was doing (via the Forum) my next Zed took me 8 months to find at my price point but it was worth the wait. (Had to compromise on colour and spec even then).

140k mileage a bit too high for me - looking around the 80k mark. Other than that it looks a great car

I wasn't even looking - passed it in our local garage on the way home from work, 1 mile from our house! Had no choice - had to trade up :driving:
Keep patient though, you will find the right one (may have to make one or two compromises, however, good ones are few and far between)

I spent about 2 months deciding to trade up, then another 6-8 weeks of looking before Red turned up on the forum. If there's one thing I've learned, act quickly if you see what you want on here good luck

That looks awesome but it's above my budget unfortunately. I'm looking for an 04/05 pre facelift with circa 80k miles. Around £5,000 is my budget. Back to searching AT and Gumtree everyday...

Yup spotted this one too. Unfortunately the mileage is too high and it's year older than I'd like to go to. I suppose I can't complain about length of time finding the right Zed when I'm being this fussy!

I just drove past a gorgeous silver Zed which looked like it had just come from the car wash. Looked stunning - I NEED ONE!!! :headbang:

Found a decent looking Zed last night. I ran a HPI check and it said 0 previous owners but the ad said 3 previous owners. Why would this happen? Something to be worried about?

Strange, ask to see the V5 doc that will show number of previous owners.
